MENUOver the past 20 years my passion has been helping others take their dreams of a business and making them a reality. I have worked for plenty of the big wigs (Xerox, Busch USA, Maximized Living and Dick’s Sporting Goods) but my heart and love has always been with the small guy/gal. I always route for the underdog! To help a small company grow is a gift, as they inspire me, just as much as I hope to inspire them.
Logo/Brand Design – You started with a dream and now it is time to make it happen. Have you thought about colors, icons, how people will see you, what you stand for, etc…? Do you feel overwhelmed and not sure? This is where I love to come in and help you! I love branding because I dig deep into your thoughts and long-term goals and pull-out things you haven’t even thought of. I sketch a lot and share with you my ideas and then take your feedback and create the best brand I can for you.
Marketing Collateral – Business cards, bookmarks, promo cards, banners, posters, trade show booths, etc… You name it, I can design it. I love printed materials and finding ways to think outside of the box to get your customers attention. Not only do I care about the design but I also care how you print it. I have a few choice printers who do a great job meeting budgets and timelines.
Websites – I stopped building websites from scratch years ago, I honestly couldn’t keep up with coding as it isn’t one of my favorite things to do. If you don’t love it, sometimes you have to leave it! However, I am a big believer in good looking websites and finding ways to make them affordable to my clients. Instead of building from scratch, I find something that will work for your style, brand and long-term needs. I search for the right template, install it, get your site up and working, and then teach you how to use it.
Book Publishing:
Over the past 3 years I have been involved in book publishing and it has been wonderful! Each client is different and filled with such enthusiasm, fear, and excitement. I hope to take the fear out and make it a memorable and fun experience.
Book Cover Design – You have less than three seconds to make a first impression. Do you have what it takes to get that click? You know, the first click when someone considers your book, and then the wonderful click of purchasing your book? With a lot of experience in book cover design my number #1 goal is to make you SHINE! The reason I believe I am so successful, is because I spend quality time with each client. I don’t just want to slap a cover together and get paid, I want you to be able to sell your book and be proud of the product we created together. Not only will you have a great cover to upload to your publisher but I also supply you with a 3d version of your front cover to sparkle out on social media.
Professional Book Layout in InDesign – I provide a full interior layout, where I design & layout the entire book for you! With a full interior design, your book will truly look unique. I incorporate all the bells & whistles so that your interior is not only easy to read but has special little touches that make a lasting impression.
Consulting/Assistance – A lot of my clients are new to publishing. When working with me I don’t just toss you the files but make sure I upload the files to your publishing account (CreateSpace, IngramSparks, etc…). Once they are uploaded and good to go, I also make sure you feel comfortable and that you followed the necessary steps to get your book to the marketplace and in readers hands.
